Keys to Motivating Yourself
Every runner knows there are times that they need motivation to get out and run. You also need motivation to finish a run. A large portion of any run is a mental battle to push yourself. I read a great article recently about motivating yourself.
The article outlines three key topics to help motivation; Visualization, Affirmations and Block the Negative.
Although the article focuses primarily on marathon’s the concept applies to any run and every level of runner. Keep a positive attitude and never give up.
